The car was absolutely one of the best on the track, and in a few years it became an icon: the Carrera 2.7 RS was unstoppable on tracks but it could be used as a daily car as well. Due to the high number of cars requested by the customers, Porsche needed to built more Carrera RS to satisfy people and so they decided to begin a second production of 911 Carrera RS.
