The Lancia Flaminia represented the flagship car of Lancia production at the beginning of 60s and during 70s, designed and made by Pininfarina.
Presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1958, this large Lancia was available in both sedan and coupé version and, only later, the cabriolet, made by Carrozzeria Touring, was added.
The engine was an evolution of the previous 2.5-liter V6, mounted on the Aurelia, the first mass-produced 6-cylinder V-engine, which delivered a total power of 110 hp. As usual in Lancia, the engine was in a front-longitudinal position, with the drive on the rear wheels, while the 4-speed gearbox was mounted in bulk with the rear differential.
The Flaminia Coupé was also proposed in the 2.8-liter version, with a shortened chassis.
5,235 Lancia Flaminia Coupé were produced from 1959 to 1967.
